LookGig Payments and Payouts Policy V1.0
1. Payment flow
LookGig uses a fair-settlement model:
1. an estimated amount may be authorized before work begins;
2. Start PIN records commencement;
3. Finish PIN records completion;
4. LookGig calculates actual minutes from system timestamps;
5. the exact final amount is captured;
6. unused authorization is released.
2. Final amount
No user manually enters final hours or final amount.
Final billable time is derived from the system-recorded start and completion events.
3. Payment processor
Card/payment processing may be provided by Stripe.
LookGig receives payment-status and transaction references needed for booking settlement.
Payment-provider terms and processing times may also apply.
4. Worker share
Platform fee: 15% of final booking amount.
Worker share: 85% of final booking amount.
5. V1 worker payout
Eligible completed, captured and undisputed worker earnings are paid by weekly bank-transfer batch to the worker's verified IBAN.
Target batch day: Monday for eligible prior-week bookings.
LookGig does not promise instant payout in V1.
6. Disputed bookings
Only the amount connected with the disputed booking is held where operationally possible.
Undisputed earnings should not be withheld merely because another booking is disputed.
The hold lasts until lawful release/resolution.
7. Chargebacks and payment reversals
If a payment is reversed, disputed or found fraudulent, LookGig may pause the related payout while investigating.
No unrelated funds are withheld without a legitimate operational/legal basis.
8. Taxes
LookGig accounts for taxes applicable to its own fees as required.
Workers are responsible for their own tax/business obligations unless law requires LookGig to withhold, report or collect.
MOTHER does not give personal tax advice.
9. Bank details
Workers must provide accurate bank/IBAN details belonging to an account they are authorized to use.
Payout changes may require re-verification.
10. Errors
Report payment/payout errors promptly to support@lookgig.com.
Discretionary compensation or waiver is escalated.
