LookGig Pricing and Fees Policy V1.0

Operator: Abiline OÜ, Tallinn, Estonia
Service: LookGig / lookgig.com

Effective date: 8 October 2026

1. How LookGig pricing works

Workers set their own hourly rate. Customers see the worker's hourly rate before booking.

LookGig charges a platform fee that is deducted from the worker's earnings; customers do not pay a separate LookGig booking surcharge in V1.

2. Platform fee

The platform fee is 15% of the final booking amount.

The worker receives 85% of the final booking amount.

The platform fee is deducted automatically at settlement; workers do not pay it separately.

3. Minimum hourly rate

The minimum hourly rate a worker may offer on LookGig is EUR 8 per hour (gross).

Workers may set a higher rate. LookGig does not guarantee any particular level of demand at any rate.

4. How the final amount is calculated

LookGig uses system-recorded timestamps to calculate final billable time:

No user manually enters final hours or the final amount.

If the system is unable to calculate time from valid Start and Finish events, the case enters the dispute process.

5. What customers pay

Customers are shown:

Consumer-facing prices include applicable taxes that LookGig is legally required to collect.

6. Authorization and final capture

An estimated amount may be authorized on the customer's payment method before work begins.

LookGig captures the exact final amount at completion.

Any difference between the estimated authorization and the final amount is adjusted; unused authorization is released.

Release and processing timing is subject to the customer's bank and payment provider.

7. Worker taxes and statutory deductions

Workers are responsible for their own income tax, social tax, business-registration and VAT obligations under Estonian and applicable law, unless applicable law requires LookGig to withhold, report or collect on their behalf.

LookGig does not provide personal tax advice. Workers should seek their own advice if uncertain.

8. Changes to fees

LookGig may update platform fee rates for future bookings.

Material changes will be communicated in advance through the platform or by email.

Changes do not apply retrospectively to bookings already confirmed before the effective date of the change.

9. Disputes about amounts

Disputes about a final amount must be raised within 7 calendar days of the booking completion.

MOTHER cannot modify a final calculated amount or authorize a refund on its own authority; amount disputes are escalated to human review.

For payment authorization, capture, payout timing and disputed-payment handling, see PAYMENTS_AND_PAYOUTS_POLICY_V1.
