LookGig Safety and Prohibited Jobs Policy V1.0

1. Purpose

This policy defines jobs that may not be posted, offered or accepted on LookGig, and sets out general safety standards.

2. Prohibited job categories

The following categories are prohibited on LookGig. Workers must not offer them; customers must not request them.

1. Illegal activity — any task that is unlawful under Estonian or applicable EU law.

2. Unlicensed regulated trade work — tasks that require a statutory licence, certification or regulatory approval where the relevant worker credential has not been verified and accepted by LookGig (for example, regulated electrical, gas or pressure-system work in Estonia).

3. Weapons and hazardous materials — tasks involving weapons, ammunition, controlled substances, or unlawfully hazardous materials.

4. Regulated professional services — medical, legal, financial, pharmaceutical or other regulated professional advisory or clinical services, unless separately approved and the relevant professional qualification is verified.

5. Adult and sexual services — any service of a sexual nature.

6. Unlawful data access — tasks that require unlawful access to, processing of, or collection of personal or confidential data.

7. Circumvention of employment law — any arrangement structured to evade mandatory employment or labour-law obligations.

8. Childcare and nanny services — childcare, babysitting and nanny bookings are not launch-enabled in V1 pending implementation of enhanced safeguarding and verification procedures.

9. Tasks creating unverified safeguarding risk involving minors — any other task that creates an unverified safeguarding risk for children or vulnerable persons.

10. Dangerous work without verified competence — tasks that require specific safety training, personal protective equipment or hazardous-work certification where the worker's competence has not been verified.

3. Minimum worker age

Workers must be at least 18 years old to register and take bookings on LookGig.

4. Safe job-site standards

Workers must not begin work if the job site presents an immediate and serious safety risk that cannot be mitigated.

Workers should communicate safety concerns to the customer before declining to start.

Customers must ensure the work area is reasonably safe before the worker arrives.

Neither party should pressure the other to proceed in unsafe conditions.

5. Reporting prohibited or unsafe jobs

If you encounter a booking, listing or request that you believe falls within a prohibited category or presents a safety risk, report it to support@lookgig.com with the booking or listing reference.

MOTHER can escalate a safety or prohibited-job report but cannot make a final determination; such reports require human review.

6. Enforcement

LookGig may cancel any booking that falls within a prohibited category.

Accounts that post, offer or accept prohibited-category jobs may be suspended or permanently restricted.

LookGig may report matters involving illegal activity to relevant authorities.

7. Updates to prohibited categories

This list may be updated as LookGig expands service categories, as regulation changes, or as new safety risks are identified.

Users will be notified of material changes.
