LookGig Worker Responsibilities Policy V1.0
1. Purpose
This policy sets out what LookGig expects of workers who use the platform.
Workers who accept bookings commit to the standards in this policy.
2. Eligibility
To work through LookGig a worker must:
- be at least 18 years old;
- have the legal right to work in Estonia and, where applicable, in the jurisdiction where services are performed;
- hold any licence, certificate or qualification required for the service category offered;
- complete LookGig identity verification before the first paid booking.
3. Accuracy of profile and skills
Workers must accurately represent their skills, experience and qualifications in their profile.
Workers must not offer services in categories for which they lack the required skills, qualifications or licences.
LookGig may remove or restrict a worker's profile if inaccurate claims are found.
4. Booking commitments
Once a worker accepts a booking:
- they commit to arrive at the agreed time and location;
- they commit to perform the agreed service to a reasonable standard;
- they commit to use the Start PIN and Finish PIN to record work commencement and completion accurately.
Workers must not manipulate, estimate or falsify PIN events or work timing.
5. Cancellations
Workers should only cancel in genuine circumstances.
Cancellation consequences are set out in the Cancellation Policy.
Workers should cancel as early as possible if they cannot attend, to allow the customer to make alternative arrangements.
6. Conduct at the job
Workers must:
- treat customers, their property and their household with respect;
- behave professionally and lawfully at all times;
- not bring unauthorised persons to the job location;
- follow any reasonable safety or access instructions given by the customer;
- not access areas or possessions beyond what is required for the agreed job.
7. Safety
Workers must not take bookings for jobs they cannot safely perform.
Workers must have and use any required personal protective equipment or tools for the work they offer.
If a job site presents unexpected safety risks, the worker should raise the concern before starting and may decline to start if the risk cannot be resolved.
In a genuine emergency at a job site, workers should follow emergency procedures and inform LookGig support.
8. Worker taxes and legal status
Workers using LookGig are responsible for their own tax, social-contribution and business-registration obligations under Estonian and applicable law.
LookGig does not determine a worker's employment or self-employment status for tax purposes; workers should seek independent advice if uncertain.
LookGig does not guarantee minimum earnings, working time or continuity of bookings.
9. Insurance
Workers are responsible for ensuring they have any insurance appropriate to their services.
LookGig does not provide workers with liability insurance or equipment insurance.
10. Misconduct and account action
Breach of these responsibilities may result in warnings, temporary suspension, permanent account restriction or removal.
Serious breaches — including fraud, violence, theft or sexual misconduct — will result in immediate account restriction pending review, and may result in permanent termination and referral to authorities.
Appeal rights are set out in the Account Suspension and Appeals Policy.
11. Prohibited jobs
Workers must not offer or accept jobs that fall under the prohibited-job categories in the Safety and Prohibited Jobs Policy.
